![]() And we get to see Rachel learn to love raspberry Esspresso! ***** Spoiler part coming up!! ***** That said, I like how Kim Harrison handled Kisten's death, using it to force both Rachel and Ivy to face their true natures. We get to see Glenn accept his tomato fascination. We also get to see Edden be a typical dad. In reality, we go into some very murky Interlander/human politics, with a good, up-close look at vampire politics specifically. And do start with the first book first- you'll miss most of the sub plot references if you don't. On the other hand, if you like books that make you keep track of multiple plot lines and get very involved in gritty character development, this will be a great series. ***** I loved this latest installment to the Hallows series! Note to the wary: If you are not the kind of person who enjoys an involved, series-long master plot that needs to be carefully followed, you might not enjoy this book. ![]()
